Recall Desk Support
Midpoint Software Group
For account help, scan problems, feedback, or privacy requests, email info@midpointcorp.com. Include your app version and a brief description of the problem. Do not send passwords, payment information, or private medical details.
Signing in
Use the same Recall Desk email and password on the website and iPhone app. New users can choose Create an account, then confirm their email. Use Forgot password? if you need a new password. A ChatGPT account is not required.
Scanning and saving items
Open My groceries and choose Scan & add grocery, or Scan a receipt to add several foods. Review the name and brand before saving. Enter the package lot and printed date yourself; a barcode usually does not contain them. Household items are saved in My products with their brand and model. For more instructions, choose How to use Recall Desk inside the app.
Monitoring and notifications
In Alerts, turn on Monitor my saved items and choose email or iPhone notifications. Allow notifications when iPhone asks. Check Background check status for each item’s latest attempt. Outages or a busy queue can delay checks. Phone delivery also depends on device settings and connectivity.
Subscriptions and restoring access
Open Account → Recall Desk Plus & subscriptions to view plans, refresh access, or restore a purchase. Use the same Recall Desk account and Apple Account used to subscribe. Contact support if the purchase belongs to a different Recall Desk account; do not buy it again to fix a sign-in problem. Manage or cancel renewal in Apple’s subscription settings. Deleting the app or your Recall Desk account does not cancel billing. Request an Apple refund at Report a Problem.
Your account and data
Choose Account → Refresh saved items to load changes made on another device. To delete your account and saved data, choose Account → Delete account and saved data. Contact us if you cannot access your account. Read our Privacy Policy.
Understanding recall results
A potential match needs to be checked against the exact brand, model, lot, dates, and official notice. No match is not an all-clear. Recall Desk uses U.S. CPSC, FDA, and USDA FSIS information, including meat, poultry, and certain egg-product recalls and public health alerts.
Drug recalls and shortages are informational. Speak with a pharmacist or prescriber before changing or stopping a prescribed medicine. Medicine and shortage monitoring is not currently available. Recall Desk is independent and is not affiliated with a government agency.
